ピーターさんはピータ先生になりました!
すごい〜 (ピーター校長かな〜 笑)
Hi, I’m Robert. Pleased to meet you all. Good Luck with learning English.

Saying ‘it’s a pleasure’ instead of ‘nice’ is good for extremely polite/suck-up worthy situations. Since you don’t always get a chance to say ‘nice to meet you’, the phrase ‘it was nice meeting you’ is useful for when you leave.
Marky, you better start watching that punctuation now your posts are aimed at people learning the language
Alright, how’s it going? I’m James, nice to meet you.
Hello everyone! Thanks for all the comments!
I’ll be back in a few hours to address all of them properly, but for now, I wanted to tell you about the voice talent, Bob and Kerri! They are two extremely talented individuals, who will really help bring our vision to life! Today was just a sample Francisco.
Don’t want to hype tomorrow’s lesson too much, but the convo is really funny!
In fact, all the courses will be sure to introduce a fun and interesting way of studying English!
I would also like to let you know we plan on introducing British and Australian English in the near future!
I actually learned something from Max’s video about Australian English.
Please keep the feedback coming!
p.s. We need the extra JapanesePod101.com emoticons.
Hello, my name is Sindy Rodriguez Cisneros, I’m from Mexico City. I live in NYC for now and I plan to live in Japan Tokyo in the near future.
My native language is Spanish and English is my second language (ESL). Right now, I am currently learning Japanese, Korean and Chinese but I focus more on Japanese for now!
Welcome to EP101 and hope you enjoy your stay!!
Ok now Peter-san, I’ll wait for your corrections.

ohhh I’m sorry, I forgot to mention that the correct way to write or post Sindy is Cindy but in my case, I make a exception because of my parents grammar error on my birth certificate.
Finanlly I thought that Erika or Erica was Chigusa-san!
Please invite her, she is star and deserves to be here too, thank you!

Other than the flag, what emoticons are missing? I just compared, and they are all here.
If you add flags, you need several. You’ll want (at a minimum) the Stars and Stripes, the Union Flag, and the . Of these, the only one I can see working in such a low resolution is the Union Flag. There simply aren’t enough pixels for Old Glory, and as far as complexity is concerned, the Australian Flag is the middle of the 3 mentioned. (It’s upper mast quadrant is the Union Flag.)
Sindy, you’re learning Chinese? I never knew. I speak Chinese. 加油!
You probably should have said “my parents’ spelling error” instead of “my parents grammar error”.
You’re a girl of many talents.
By the way,
Is there a comments feed?
Max -
That’s a very interesting difference in dialect, with some similarities. Here, the way you said 「How’z it goin’」 sounds more like a pick-up line. (generally a guy trying to get a girl to go on a date) The greeting here is 「How’s it going.」 Another option (fairly informal, only use this with people you have already met) is 「What’s up」.
Around here, 「Nice to meet you」 is normally used only if someone else is introducing you, or you are meeting in a formal situation, such as a job interview. It is only used the first time you meet someone.
Also, Peter’s second line in the bonus track is somewhat redundant. 「I’m sorry, I didn’t catch that.」 would have been sufficient, and in some situations, may even be more polite.

Peter, I don’t know what happened to my earlier comment, but I’m not certain what extra emoticons you are referencing. The only one I see on jp101 that isn’t here is the Japan flag. If we added flags here, we’d need at a minimum 3 - the Stars and Stripes, the Union Flag, and the Australian flag.
At the resolutions the emoticons are, the Union flag would be the only one I would see as practical to re-create. The Australian flag might be possible, but would just have dots instead of stars (it has the Union Flag in the top mast quadrant). Old Glory would be the hardest to re-create, as there are 9 rows of stars in the same space as the height of 7 stripes. (there are a total of 13 stripes, the blue field goes about 1/3 the way across the flag covering the first 7 stripes.
I like the fact you put in pauses for the study to repeat the phrases. This is something that is strangely missing in the beginning Japanese Pod lessons (something I hope has been corrected in the newer ones!)
おどおど?この言葉面白い!英語では何と言うかな。。。
“I’ll never be hesitant again!”
“I’ll never be timid again!”
もっといいideaがある方post書いてください。
It is interesting to hear Peter-san on the opposite side of the conversation (as in he speaks a lot less/being spoken to with Naomi speaking the most).
Maybe a bit late, but here are some interesting greetings:
“Blessed!”
“Yes.”
“Respect!”
