Not as such, really, but every year we do some public relations op to explain the kind of work we do and give information to people regarding how they can help us. It’s rather low profile, but it’s fun !

ブチクレアさん、tell us more about your public relations ops. What exactly do you do? Plan promotional events?

Not really promotional events but we give conferences in companies to explain about transplantation and organ donation, we distribute pamphlets, organise meetings for the general public… 2 or 3 years ago a famous french actor gave a kidney to his sister who was on dialysis, and afterwards went public about that, too.

Every year there are also national awareness weeks about urological subjects, and we get to answer toll-free line phone calls about whatever the week’s subjetc is (like prostate cancer).

It’s more of an educational project than a real reputation-making PR op, really.
