Have you ever become a victim of a fraud? How did it happen?

I’ve never been a victim either, but every day I receive tons of junk e-mail urging you to clear your bank account information or password with such and such company or your account might get cancelled… last week I also had a text message on my phone that said “hey ! We had fun last night ! But you didn’t call back so I wondered if you lost my number. Just drop me a line at “number…” ” With said number being a hoax redirecting you to some overpriced overseas operator… There are a lot of those around recently.

Hi, it’s first time for me to visit this site…..and this was the first lesson I listened…and actually I HAVE been a victim of fraud, not once but twice….well, but maybe not quite, because I found out it was a scam before I gave my money away….It’s a long story so maybe some day you guys can use it on NewsorNot lesson, haha I must say, what happened to me was not as crazy as today’s news…

Annoying junk mails! I am lucky in the sense that I don’t get any spam msgs on my phone. As soon as you open a new e-mail account, your account is flooded with junk mails. Very annoying! Who falls for them?
