Would you want a real tree or an artificial tree for Christmas?
クリスマスツリーは本物と作り物、どちらがいいですか?
I like artificial trees, because they’re easier to take care of.
And I think cutting down real trees every year for your living room is not a very eco-friendly thing to do. In NY, I used to see so many trees thrown out as garbage in late December. It was painful to see.
I love real trees !!! mainly because of the smell !
And also all the fake trees I’ve seen looked very shabby…
But I agree that it’s not very nice for the environment. My family has bought a live, potted tree (large pot, and we don’t usually celebrate Christmas in Paris), and we decorate it every year. The rest of the time, the tree happily lives it tree-life in the garden…
I like the smell of real trees, but just like Gabrielle, I don’t like cleaning the piles of leaves every year….by the way, I LOVE Christmas and its smell….
petiteclaire,
That’s a great idea for keeping a Christmas tree! If I ever move into a house big enough I will try the same!
And Shiho, I like the smell of real trees, too. So it’s a tough choice.
