Mayor elections in Paris (and all over France actually) are less than a month away… it’s really getting ugly, now .
I don’t think I’d do a good job … too big, too many people to content…

I thought the news was true, but I was a bit surprised by the 80% vote. That’s a lot ! I also wasn’t sure you could get elected as mayor at 18 (french law on that point is horribly complicated; while you’re no longer a minor at 18, you can’t run for office if you’re yonger than 24, I think, and then the age depends on the function you’re running for).

Keep on with this series ! It’s fun !

Technical issue : there’s no PDF either on the site or in iTunes, but there’s also no vocabulary in the learning center (the japanese doesn’t show up)…

Michael Sessons (Hillsdale, MI) has Mr. Dunkel beat in age. He didn’t turn 18 until after the deadline for regular candidates, and therefore had to run as a write-in. He won the race while still a High School Senior.
