Learn English with EnglishPod101.com! You’re excited to finally be visiting Washington, D.C.! Not only is D.C. home to the U.S. government, it’s also a thriving metropolis with over half a million citizens. While you’re there, you plan to visit government buildings, embassies from all over the world, and the White House! The only problem is, all of the American coworkers you’ve been sent to D.C. with have other things to do, so you’ll be sightseeing on your own!

In this lesson, we will be learning about using the impersonal “there” in English. This conversation takes place on the plane during the shift, where David and Ashley, who are friends, will be speaking casual English. Visit us at EnglishPod101.com, where you will find many more fantastic English lessons and learning resources! Leave us a message while you are there!
