海外で、英語の訛りがあるところに行ったことがありますか?

Not really, but I went to a symposium last week, and two immunologists from Oxford gave lectures there. One was british and spoke “Queen’s English”, all very clear and understandable. The other was a Scot… I couldn’t get a single word of what he said !!!!

アメリカ育ちの私は、イギリスとオーストラリアのアクセントがすごく聞きづらい！単語まで違うから大変！

アメリカの場合、
結構どこいっても、多少のなまりはありますよね。
あまりきつくないのは、Midwestといわれています。
特に理解しにくいのは南部アクセントとboston accent。
